Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about education? Schools across Aylesbury and the surrounding areas are seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to step into the classroom and support students across Key Stages 3 to 5. Whether you're looking to gain experience before moving into teaching or already have classroom experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise whole classes during teacher absences, ensuring a calm and focused environment
  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans and maintain student engagement
  • Support students with tasks and answer basic questions when needed
  • Promote positive behaviour and manage classroom conduct in line with school policies
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student performance where necessary
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting (ideal but not essential)
  • QTS is not required, but classroom experience is desirable
  • Strong classroom presence and confident communication skills
  • Flexible and comfortable working across various year groups and subjects
  • A valid, enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
  • Able to provide a minimum of two years' employment references
