About the Service
This 58 -bed nursing home provides a wide range of specialist care, including:
Older Person Care
Dementia Care (all stages)
Permanent and Respite Care
Palliative / End-of-Life Care
Key Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and other legal and regulatory requirements
Oversee and manage all aspects of care delivery, focusing on safety, dignity, and individual needs
Work closely with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and commissioners
Monitor clinical performance and standards through regular audits and quality assurance frameworks
- Essential:
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Home Manager in a nursing or residential care setting
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and experience with inspections
Leadership skills with the ability to inspire, manage, and develop a team
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
Current NMC registration (RGN / RMN / RNLD) - preferred but not essential
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towardse
