Are you passionate about cyber security and an experienced people manager looking to make a difference with your skills and influence? We are seeking a Cyber Security Team Leader to join our DDAT team. This role offers a unique opportunity to support our team in ensuring the security of our network infrastructure and information systems, while enabling open and modern secure digital services.

As a Team Leader, you will lead a team supporting NHSBSA business areas to understand and shape security requirements, drive staff development, and facilitate career progression. You will manage key people processes such as one-to-ones and performance reviews, with a strong focus on colleague wellbeing.

Your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

1. The management of day-to-day activities and general oversight of the security operations team, including development, recruitment, performance management, and pastoral care.
2. Supporting the outputs of the Cyber Security Improvement Programme.
3. Ensuring appropriate access control and monitoring on NHS BSA IT systems.
4. Actively monitoring and mitigating threats to the integrity of NHS BSA's Information Assets.
5. Supporting the team in performing forensically sound acquisitions of computer systems and media.
6. Managing the ICT security incident process.
7. Conducting reviews, internal audits, and spot-checks to ensure effective security monitoring and alerting.
8. Providing expert guidance throughout the lifecycle of security solution implementations.
