Résumé du poste
A leading engineering firm in Bolton is seeking a Tool Design Engineer for a long-term contract. The role involves developing tooling solutions for various projects and requires mechanical design expertise, particularly with 3D CAD software like PTC Creo. Candidates should have experience in FMEA and similar techniques, and possess a relevant degree. You will work in a collaborative environment and take ownership of design processes, ensuring customer needs are met effectively.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in Mechanical design and development using appropriate engineering tools and techniques.
- Experience of operating in an environment employing development techniques such as FMEA, DFA, DFM.
- Ability to understand customer needs to develop design solutions.
Responsabilités
- Development of technical requirements.
- Creation of concept designs.
- Organising design / peer reviews.
- Managing workload and priorities.
- Completion of detailed design.
- Interfacing with definition team to create 2-D drawings.
- Publication of all CAD data.
