A technology recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to build a robust monorepo ecosystem. This fully remote role requires 8+ years of experience and fluency in Java, Python, Starlark, and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will drive developer tooling improvements and manage complex build systems. Occasional travel to London is required. Competitive pay within IR35 guidelines.
Formación
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Deep experience with Bazel and large monorepo-based codebases.
- Fluency in Java, Python, Starlark, and TypeScript.

Conocimientos
Do you have a passion for enabling developer "flow" and building lightning-fast build experiences? We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Software Engineer to drive the next generation of developer tooling as we build a unified, robust, and scalable monorepo ecosystem.
Role: Senior Software Engineer
Experience: 8+ years
Location: Fully remote but should be willing to travel to London occasionally
Duration: Contract (6 months + potential to extend)
Pay: Inside IR35 only
This role is within our Platform Developer Experience (PDX) R&D Studio, a mission dedicated to owning and improving core engineering infrastructure, including our VCS and CI systems.
- Deep experience with Bazel and scaling large monorepo-based codebases (millions of lines of code).
- A strong desire to own, maintain, and help migrate complex build systems to Bazel.
- Expert problem-solving skills and a focus on maximizing developer productivity.
- Fluency in Java, Python, Starlark, and TypeScript is mandatory.
