What You'll Do

As a Software Control Systems Engineer at Eltek Systems, you’ll design, develop, and implement automation control software for high-profile clients in the Food and Beverage industry. You will work across the full project lifecycle—from concept to commissioning—delivering innovative solutions to automate and optimise manufacturing processes.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Designing and developing PLC, HMI, and SCADA software.
• Participating in all stages of project delivery—from initial specification to final commissioning.
• Collaborating closely with customers, suppliers, and colleagues to ensure smooth project execution.
• Creating detailed design and test documentation.
• Conducting factory and site testing with clients.
• Performing on-site commissioning and providing hands-on support.
• Compiling training manuals and delivering customer training sessions.

What you bring

• Intermediate experience with Rockwell, Siemens, or other major PLC and SCADA/HMI platforms.
• Experience writing automation software and engaging directly with customers during project delivery.
• A solid understanding of industrial network setup and fault-finding (e.g., EthernetIP, Profibus, Profinet) is advantageous.
• A background in engineering environments, ideally within manufacturing or automation sectors.
• A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and apply new technologies.
