The Factory Operations Manager position is a senior role responsible for overseeing operations and manufacturing at their key facility near Bloxwich.

Knowledge of Health and Safety, Continuous Improvement, and lean manufacturing techniques is essential.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to achieve World Class standards across multiple production lines
• Promote lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, VSM, TPM, etc.
• Manage and motivate managers and teams, fostering problem-solving and career development
• Introduce processes and procedures to enhance output and support EBITDA and growth objectives over the next three years
• Lead the development of an agile, ambitious manufacturing function aligned with company growth and performance goals

Essential qualifications & experience:

• Previous senior-level manufacturing experience (e.g., Operations Manager, Plant Manager, etc.)
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Proven success in achieving World Class / Operational Excellence
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments with continuous improvement tools
• Knowledge of WCM or Operational Excellence journeys, with ability to lead from the front and engage in shopfloor activities as needed
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification in Health and Safety
• Degree qualification or equivalent experience
