An educational organization in the UK is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of multiple school facilities. Responsibilities include site maintenance, securing premises, and coordinating repairs. Ideal candidates are proactive individuals with excellent customer service skills and knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems. The role offers flexible hours and a supportive environment.
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the Facilities Manager in looking after the building and grounds at Cornwallis Academy, New Line Learning Academy and Tiger Primary School. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties including maintenance, cleanliness and security of the school building and grounds. Our core operations run Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 10:00pm, with additional lettings taking place at weekends. This structure gives us real flexibility to shape the role around the right person. Responsibilities of the post holder are not limited to, but will include:
You will be a responsible individual who takes pride in your day-to-day work. You will be very pro-active in attending to the needs of the school to ensure everything runs smoothly and be able to provide excellent customer service skills as well as having an awareness of health and safety issues. A good understanding of plumbing, electrical systems and DIY would be desirable.
