A leading food manufacturing business seeks a Planning Manager to lead the planning function. The role involves developing planning tools and enhancing efficiency through effective use of an ERP system. Candidates should have FMCG experience and a strong understanding of planning processes.

This period of rapid growth has now led them to creating a brand new position in the business; Planning Manager.
The Planning Manager appointment is a pivotal role that will see you lead the planning function, where you will deliver development, planning and reporting tools to create critical insight for the entire business.
Remit:
- You will master the scheduling framework, scheduling tool design and implementation, and short-range capacity planning.
- Maximise the use of the ERP system with a view to look at short, medium and long-term developments to improve business efficiency
- Support rough cut capacity planning in conjunction with the Head of Supply Chain and to support with highlighting ahead of time capacity constraints and advising on solutions.
- You will be the Planning lead with the Supply Chain’s in the customer base and internally with the Commercial Team.

A prerequisite for this role is FMCG planning experience, coupled with extensive understanding and intellect in using (and getting the best out of) an ERP System.
