Job summary
A supportive organization located in Aston-on-Trent is seeking a Deputy Support Manager to assist in leading teams in providing person-centered support for individuals with learning disabilities. This role requires a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification and offers a competitive salary of £30,856.62 per annum. Qualifications
- Relevant Health and Social Care qualification at Level 3 or above (England) or SCQF 7 or above (Scotland).
- Proven experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
- Leadership or coaching experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and care regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Confidence in using digital systems (e.g. Excel, care planning software).
- Flexible working hours, willingness to travel locally and work across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Support Manager in leading teams.
- Mentor teams and coach support staff.
- Help maintain records and address concerns.
- Conduct audits and deputise for the Support Manager.
