About our client

Our client is a leading privately held European investment group that employs over 200 people in London, Jersey, Boston and Geneva. They have a hugely successful global initiative, with concentration in the US and European markets across real estate, hedge funds and private equity.

What the job involves

Our client is searching for an Associate to focus on private equity co-investment, secondaries and primary fund commitments. You will focus on the mid and lower-mid market and have access to some of the world's leading private markets funds. As part of the role you will spend significant time conducting asset-level analysis and working with highly sought after and unique North American funds.

1. Supporting the team in all aspects of investment appraisal
2. Building relationships with GPs globally, with particular emphasis on the mid-market
3. On-going investment monitoring
4. Contribution to the setting of investment strategy

Who we are looking for

1. An investment banking M&A, corporate finance or leveraged finance analyst
2. Strong modelling skills and an analytical mind-set
3. Enthusiasm for fund-of-funds, co-investment and secondary investment strategies
4. A self-starter who shows initiative and brings ideas to the table
5. Strong academics
6. An additional European language is desirable but not essential
