A childcare recruitment agency in Lewes is seeking a passionate Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly team. The successful candidate will ensure outstanding childcare and early education by supporting daily operations and maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, and demonstrate excellent communication skills and a genuine love for working with children. This role includes participating in children's progress and development activities as well as adhering to safeguarding policies.

- Must possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsabilités
- Contribute to the daily operation of the nursery.
- Plan and participate in nursery activities.
- Ensure children's welfare and safety according to safeguarding policies.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding children and families.
- Provide high-quality care and learning experiences.
- Observe and record children's progress and achievements.
- Attend staff meetings and training as required.

The successful applicant will work alongside a dedicated and passionate team to offer outstanding childcare and early education.
- Level 3 qualification or higher in Early Years or Childcare
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- To work as part of the staff team, contributing to the smooth day to day operation of the setting.
- To contribute towards the daily programme of nursery activities and events.
- To follow the safeguarding policy and procedures of the setting, ensuring the welfare and safety of the children is maintained and promoted at all times. Reporting any concerns to the appropriate senior member of staff as stated in the policy.
- To adhere to the confidentiality policy of the setting, ensuring at all times information regarding the children and their families is kept confidential.
- To ensure the nursery policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
- To be responsible for providing high quality care and learning.
- To be responsible for observing and recording children’s progress and achievements, including the drawing up of curriculum plans which take into account the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- To participate in regular supervision meetings and a yearly appraisal review with the manager
- To communicate effectively and build positive relationships with the children, parents, carers and families using the nursery.
- To attend staff meetings and any required staff development training.
- To ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained throughout the setting on a daily basis.
