Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Site Manager for a Battery Energy Storage System project in Edinburgh. You will oversee final stages of construction and commissioning, ensuring safety and compliance. Candidates must have an SMSTS qualification and a strong background in civil or electrical work. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential. Experience in energy or utilities sectors preferred. This role offers a contract until at least March 2026.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing construction sites, ideally in energy, utilities, renewables, substations, or BESS.
  • Strong civil or electrical background with excellent understanding of H&S and CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day site management on a BESS installation in late-stage construction.
  • Monitor construction progress and proactively resolve issues.
