Job summary
An industry leading contractor in the UK is seeking a Site Manager for a long-term residential groundworks project in Darlington. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of management experience and must be highly experienced in residential groundworks. This position requires valid CSCS and SMSTS certifications. The role offers competitive rates motivated by negotiation and an immediate start.
Qualifications
- 8+ years management experience in construction.
- Highly experienced in residential groundworks.
- Valid CSCS and SMSTS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Site supervision ensuring compliance with health and safety.
- Managing labour and overseeing site operations.
- Providing progress reports and managing materials.

My client is an industry leading contractor with multiple live contracts across the UK. We are currently recruiting a Site manager to join the company and assist in managing a long term residential groundworks project in Darlington. RATES ARE NEGOTIABLE!!! THIS IS FOR AN IMMEDIATE START!!!
- Reporting and working alongside the Project Manager and Contracts Manager.
- Site Supervision and compliance with health and safety
- Keeping site diaries
- Ammending and working to RAMS
- Quality Assurance.
- Managing the labour and putting men to work.
- Providing progress reports
- Managing/ordering materials and overseeing site operations.
- CSCS
- SMSTS
- First aid
- NVQ Level 6 (ideally)
- Highly experienced in residential groundworks
- 8+ years management experience
