A local educational institution in Chatham is seeking a passionate individual for supporting students in the classroom during teacher absences. Responsibilities include supervising classes and ensuring students stay engaged with their learning. Ideal candidates possess a love for helping students grow and can create a positive classroom environment. This role offers a chance to gain valuable teaching experience in a supportive school setting.
Are you someone who loves working with young people and making a difference in their learning journey?
This is an exciting opportunity to step into the classroom and support students, ensuring they stay on track with their learning, even when their regular teacher is away. Whether you’re an experienced cover supervisor or someone looking to gain teaching experience, we want to hear from you!
This is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave.
This is more than just a job - it’s a chance to shape the next generation of learners, build valuable experience, and work in a supportive, vibrant school environment.
At The Victory Academy, we pride ourselves on being welcoming and caring school. Our strong staff‑pupil relationships create an environment where students know that we’ve got their back and genuinely care about their well‑being – even those who find learning challenging. Here, pupils celebrate and respect each other’s uniqueness, echoing one student’s sentiment: “You can be who you want to be here.” (Ofsted 2023)
Our site and buildings provide an inspiring backdrop for growth and discovery. With excellent resources at your fingertips, you’ll thrive as an educator. We boast a robust arts education program, including a prestigious Platinum Artsmark Award – an achievement held by less than 1% of schools in England.
We believe in the individuality of each person. Every member of our community possesses unique gifts and talents, which we nurture and channel. Our curriculum ensures that all students, regardless of their starting points, achieve their academic potential. When they leave The Victory Academy, they’ll be dynamic contributors to society.
