A local service provider in Plummers Plain is seeking an administrative professional to support field engineers. The successful candidate will manage diaries, compile work sheets, and handle various HR and administrative tasks. IT proficiency in Word and Excel is essential. This part-time role offers an hourly rate of £14, with flexible work hours and no weekend shifts.

  • Organise Field Engineers Diaries.
  • Compile engineers work sheets and invoice customers.
  • Manage customer contracts and quotations.
  • Order spare parts from suppliers.
  • Handle general administration and HR duties.

IT Skills – proficient in Word and Excel
Good communication and customer skills
Good administrative skills
Full UK Driving License preferred
Job description
Responsibilities
  • Organising Field Engineers Diaries
  • Compiling engineers work sheets and invoicing customers for work done (electronic system)
  • Compiling contracts for customers
  • Compiling quotations for customers
  • Ordering spare parts from suppliers
  • General administration and office duties
  • HR duties – staff contracts, holidays and sickness working with our HR Provider
  • Reporting to Service and Managing Director
Skills required
  • IT Skills – proficient in Word and Excel
  • Good communication and customer skills
  • Good administrative skills
  • Full UK Driving License preferred
Hours of work

0900-1500 Monday to Thursday

0900-1330 Friday

Total weekly hours 28.5

30 minutes for lunch

There may be some flexibility on hours

No weekend working required

Annual leave – TBC

Hourly rate £14.00
