The Premier Host will contribute to the success of TfW by being an ambassador for the on board, first class catering service, providing high quality customer service in a professional and friendly manner.

• Working independently and as part of a strong team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of providing an exceptionally high standard of at seat and buffet counter food to passengers on-board our first class trains.
• You will be providing a professional waiter / waitress service to our first-class passenger whilst ensure that an exceptionally high level of excellent customer service and care is given and maintained on a day-to-day basis.
• Be responsible for offering our customers a wide range of available products by accurately accounting for all stock, reporting any defects and working with the trolley when needed to provide a consistent service offering.
• Be responsible for our customer’s and your personal wellbeing by always following the conductor’s instructions when on board especially in an emergency to minimise risk to health and safety.

• Knowledge and understanding of Food Safety and Food Hygiene regulations and Health & Safety procedures
• Demonstrable experience of providing high quality face to face customer service.
• Excellent customer care skills.
• Flexible and available to work the shifts required.
• Previous experience of handling cash and sales transactions

The ability to speak / write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
