Blue Triangle Limited in Kilmarnock is seeking a part-time Support Worker to provide safe, supported accommodation for young people 16-25, on a 12-week rolling rota including weekends. The role supports care-experienced individuals and requires a commitment to professional learning and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people.
• Ideally 1 year experience with vulnerable people.
• Commitment to care practice per SSSC code of practice and National Care Standards.
• Ability to relate empathetically and respect client independence.
• Flexibility and ability to work as a lone worker.
• Proficient with Microsoft or equivalent applications.
• Willingness to work towards SVQ3 (SVQ2+ preferred).

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team providing safe, supported accommodation for homeless people.
• Support, review and monitor case management to achieve person-centred outcomes.
• Maintain and update recording systems and documentation within required timeframes.
• Provide, plan and facilitate key work meetings and sessions in line with the support plan.
• Provide general advocacy and advice to the people we support to meet occupancy conditions.
