Job summary

Blue Triangle is a social care organisation focused on supporting people experiencing homelessness in Scotland. As a Support Worker, you will help provide safe, secure, supported accommodation and encourage residents toward personal outcomes.

The role involves nightshifts on a rolling rota within East Kilbride, with 33.25 hours per week and a rota that includes some weekends. Commitment to ongoing professional learning is required, with support to achieve registration with the SSSC.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with vulnerable people preferred.
• Commitment to SSSC Code of Practice and National Care Standards.
• Ability to relate empathetically and support independence.
• Experience with lone working and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide safe, supported accommodation for homeless people.
• Support, review, monitor and evaluate using our case management system to achieve person-centred outcomes.
• Maintain and update recording systems and documentation within required timeframes.
• Provide, plan and facilitate key work meetings and reviews with the person's support plan.
• Provide general advocacy and advice to enable occupancy conditions.
