Job summary

Blue Triangle is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help provide safe, secure, supported accommodation for people experiencing homelessness. You will deliver practical and emotional support to enable individuals to achieve personal outcomes in daily life.

The role is based at Paisley Bruce Court, 35 hours per week on a 4-week rolling rota, with days, backshifts and some weekend work. Registration with the SSSC is required within 3 months of starting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated empathy and ability to relate to people respectfully.
• Willingness to work flexibly and as a lone worker.
• Competence in Microsoft Office or equivalent applications.

Responsibilities

• work as part of a team to provide safe, secure, supported accommodation for homeless people.
• monitor and evaluate through case management to achieve person-centred outcomes.
• maintain and update recording systems and occupancy documents within required timeframes.
• plan and facilitate key work meetings and reviews with the person’s support plan.
• provide advocacy and advice to help people meet occupancy conditions.
