Job summary

Blue Triangle is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Whatriggs Service in Kilmarnock. The role covers a 12-week rolling rota with set day and back shifts, including weekend work every second weekend. Part-time with 25 hours per week, supporting care-experienced young people aged 16-25.

You will provide practical and emotional support within safe, secure accommodation, helping individuals achieve personal outcomes and independence in daily life.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with vulnerable people
• Ability to work flexibly and as a lone worker
• Commitment to care practice and industry standards
• Willingness to work towards SVQ3 as part of development

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, secure, supported accommodation to service users
• Support, review and monitor progress through case management systems
• Maintain and update all recording systems and documentation on time
• Plan and facilitate key work meetings and reviews with service users
• Offer general advocacy and advice to help occupancy conditions be met
