Job summary

A youth organization in Northern Ireland is seeking a Youth Support Admin to assist youth support workers and manage activities. Job description

The Employer is: KINGDOM YOUTH CLUB.
As a Youth Support Admin, you will be working under instruction from the Youth Support Worker in Charge and other qualified Youth Support Workers. You will be signing young people in and out of activities, managing the tuck shop, and organising hot snacks in the club kitchen for each young person attending the session. This post will include midweek and weekend shifts. Kingdom Youth Club has been a core provider of youth services in the Mournes for over 25 years, working effectively to meet the needs of young people from varied backgrounds including SEND. KYC is open 365 days a year, offering a range of targeted youth programmes, free drop‑in and project work, and a fun, social, safe setting that encourages participation in affordable, enjoyable activities.

Responsibilities
  • Work under instruction from the Youth Support Worker in Charge and other qualified Youth Support Workers.
  • Undertake training as provided.
  • Undertake ACCESS NI certification.
  • Handle money, including managing the tuck shop.
  • Prepare a hot snack for approximately 60 young people at each session.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings.
  • Perform any other duties reasonably required.
