Job summary

Witherslack Group in Wrightington is seeking a Residential Support Worker to help young people in our care. You will support their daily routines, get them ready for school, and assist with homework while building trust and positive relationships.

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude and team player mindset are essential.
• Honesty, empathy and resilience are required to support young people.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily care routines and school preparation for young people.
• Help with homework and plan engaging activities.
• Complete paperwork and coordinate with care teams.
• Provide evening and weekend activities and supervision.
• Contribute to creating lasting positive memories for children.
