Witherslack Group is seeking a Children’s Residential Support Worker to help create a safe, nurturing home for young people. The role includes evenings, weekends and up to four sleep-ins per month, with four weeks of Care Academy training on start.

A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is expected to support professional development. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits, designed to reflect the rewarding nature of helping young people achieve their future

Qualifications

• Experience with children and young people is valuable, and the right person will bring a calm, listening presence.
• Ability to build trust, stay calm under pressure and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to develop and learn through our Care Academy.

Responsabilités

• Be a key worker and consistent presence in a young person’s life.
• Support the development of independence and confidence.
• Work in a residential setting with evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
• FollowCare Academy training before settling into the home.
