Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Residential Support Worker to help children and young people in our homes. You will support daily routines, education, and activities, with a strong emphasis on creating positive outcomes and lasting memories.

You’ll begin with a 4-week Care Academy induction and have access to wellbeing tools, generous holiday, and various progression opportunities within the group.

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude and teamwork.
• Honesty and empathy are essential.
• Resilience to handle challenging situations.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) encouraged; the company will support studying.

Responsibilities

• Care for young people daily, ensuring wellbeing and safety.
• Help with getting ready for school and homework support.
• Complete paperwork and plan activities for the day.
• Engage in evenings and weekend activities and outings.
