Year 3 Class Teacher – February Half Term Start

Location: North Manchester
Start Date: February Half Term 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed Term until July 2026
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

GSL Education Manchester is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and well-regarded two-form entry primary school in North Manchester in their search for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Class Teacher.

This full-time role begins after February half term (2026) and will continue through to the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension. It’s a fantastic opportunity to join a school known for its inclusive ethos, collaborative team, and high expectations for every child.

About the Role

You’ll take full responsibility for a settled Year 3 class, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. You’ll work alongside the parallel class teacher and benefit from shared planning, strong leadership support, and a team that values collaboration and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and purposeful lessons across all core subjects
  • Use a range of assessment methods to track pupil progress and inform teaching
  • Differentiate learning effectively to meet the needs of all learners
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to wider school life and uphold the school’s values and vision

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with recent experience in Key Stage 2
  • Strong understanding of lower KS2 learning needs and curriculum delivery
  • Confident behaviour management and a nurturing classroom presence
  • Organised, reflective, and driven to support pupil progress and wellbeing
  • A team player ready to make a positive contribution to school life
