Job summary

Flourish Education invites applications for a Year 1 Teacher position based in West Bromwich. The role focuses on planning, delivering, and assessing Year 1 lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum, and supporting pupil development across academic, social and emotional areas.

Job description

As a Year 1Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

To be successful in this Year 1Teacher role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• A strong understanding of phonics and early reading strategies
• Strong classroom management skills and a confident, calm approach.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Working for Flourish Education as a Year 1Teacher, you will receive:

• Competitive Salary – £33,930 - £46,800 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year, and previous experience.
