Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work in a Year 2 class at a one-form-entry primary school based in Rugeley. The role is part‑time, long‑term, starting as soon as possible until December 2026 with potential extension. Our client expects KS1 delivery with strong planning and marking in line with policies.

Are you a Primary Teacher looking for a Key Stage 1 position?

Flourish Education is recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work in a Year 2 class at a one-form-entry primary school based in Rugeley.

Our client is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teacher to work on a part‑time, long‑term basis, starting as soon as possible and continuing until December 2026, with the potential for this to be extended for the right candidate.

On the days you are working, you will be expected to:

• Plan, assess and mark pupils’ work in line with the school’s policies.
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons.
• Work alongside a Teaching Assistant.

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply, as are experienced teachers. Working hours are Wednesday to Thursday, 8:15 am to 4:30 pm.

Required Skills and Experience for this Primary Teacher role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Confidence in leading a classroom.
