Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting a Primary Teacher to work in a Year 2 class at a three-form-entry primary school based in Telford. This part-time, long-term role starts in October 2026 and runs until March 2027, with potential extension for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will plan, assess and mark pupils’ work, deliver engaging lessons and work alongside a Teaching Assistant. QTS required; working hours are Monday to Wednesday, 8:15am to 4:30pm. ECTs are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Confidence in leading a classroom.
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a Teaching Assistant.

Are you a Primary Teacher looking for a Key Stage 1 position?

Flourish Education is recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work in a Year 2 class at a three-form-entry primary school based in Telford.

Our client is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teacher to work on a part-time, long-term basis, starting in October 2026 and continuing until March 2027, with the potential for this to be extended for the right candidate.

On the days you are working, you will be expected to:

• Plan, assess and mark pupils’ work in line with the school’s policies.
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons.
• Work alongside a Teaching Assistant.

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply, as are experienced teachers. Working hours are Monday - Wednesday, 8:15am to 4:30pm.

Required Skills and Experience for this Primary Teacher role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
