Job summary

Qualifications

• QTS status required.
• Experience teaching KS1, preferably Year 1.
• Strong knowledge of KS1 curriculum.
• Phonics and early reading knowledge.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Implementing behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Maintaining clear records of pupil progress and providing feedback.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and attending required staff meetings.
• Ensuring classroom resources and learning activities are well-prepared.
