Yard Operative - Kingsbury, Tamworth

£12.72 per hour | Monday to Friday | Temp to Perm | Full Training Provided

Are you looking for a hands‑on role where no two days are the same? Our client a market leader in metal recycling is expanding their team in Kingsbury, Tamworth, and looking for reliable, enthusiastic Yard Operatives to join their operation.

No previous experience? No problem! Full training will be provided, giving you the chance to build a long‑term career in an industry that's constantly growing.

What's in it for you

• £12.72 per hour
• Overtime available - £16.92 per hour after 9 hours Monday to Friday. £16.92 per hour Saturday. £19.08 per hour Sunday.
• Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00
• Weekly pay - every Friday!

Your day‑to‑day duties

• Unloading, processing, and dispatching steel sections
• Using mobile plant such as Combi‑Lift, Forklift Truck, or Side‑Loader (training provided)
• Assessing and marking materials for quality and traceability
• Cutting, preparing, and sampling steel sections using hand tools and hot cutting equipment
• Assisting customers and colleagues with loading and unloading
• Keeping your work area safe, clean, and efficient
• Following all Health & Safety and environmental guidelines
