Job description

Chapmanslade CofE Primary School is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of our after-school provision, starting as soon as possible.

Working Hours

Part time (12 hours 30 minutes per week, 3.15pm until 5.30pm Monday-Friday, 38 weeks per year, no Teacher Training days). Contract : Fixed Term (until 31st August 2026).

We are a small and convivial primary school with Christianity at our heart. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who attend. This role involves planning and organising a range of activities suitable for primary-aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs.

We are looking for someone who :

• Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children;
• Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
• Is self-motivated, energetic and proactive and will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for all of our children;
• Has experience of working with children in a play / educational setting;
• Has Food handling experience and / or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one);
• Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations;
• Is a strong team player able to support colleagues within a small team;
• Has a positive and flexible attitude;
• Can demonstrate a warm and caring approach with children;
• is First Aid trained (advantageous).
