Job description

Keevil Church of England Academy is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of our before/after-school provision, starting as soon as possible.

Working Hours: Part time – 15 hours per week (7:35 a.m. to 8:35 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday). Years of service: 38 weeks per year, with no Teacher Training Days. Location: Keevil, Wiltshire. We are a welcoming primary school educated children aged 5‑11, part of the Acorn Education Trust and rated ‘Good’ in our most recent Ofsted inspection.

Responsibilities

Ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children in our care. Plan, organise and deliver a range of activities suitable for primary‑aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs.

Qualifications
  • Passion for delivering high‑quality and exciting opportunities for children.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Self‑motivated, energetic and proactive, with a commitment to safe, high‑quality education and care.
  • Experience working with children in a play or educational setting.
  • Food handling experience and/or a food handling certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Ability to deal with new and challenging situations.
  • Strong team player who supports colleagues within a small team.
  • Positive and flexible attitude.
  • Warm and caring approach with children.
  • First Aid trained (advantageous).
