Listers Volkswagen Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking a Workshop Manager to lead a busy workshop across VW Passenger Cars, Commercial Vehicles and fleet operations. You will oversee workflow, supervise Technicians and coordinate with a second workshop (Battery Competency Centre) to maintain brand standards.

The ideal candidate has dealership supervisory experience, a strong focus on processes, KPI achievement and delivering an outstanding customer experience, with hours 08:00–17:00 and some

Qualifications

• This role would ideally suit someone who has previously worked within a dealership in a supervisory capacity (e.g., Trainee Workshop Controller, Experienced Workshop Foreman or Experienced Workshop Controller).
• Experience delivering high-quality service in a busy workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the workflow of all jobs to brand standard with effective workshop loading.
• Lead a team of Technicians and ensure efficient workshop throughput.
• Provide focused assistance to the service department to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Ensure processes are consistently followed and aligned with franchise expectations.
• Conduct regular process and Technician reviews with the Aftersales Manager to address issues and drive improvement.
• Manage workshop KPI targets and resource planning to meet demand.
• Support the department with specifications and coding of non-standard, complex jobs with customer approval.
