Job summary

Listers is seeking a Workshop Manager for our Volkswagen dealership in Stratford-upon-Avon. The role covers managing a busy workshop across VW Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles, with liaison to a second workshop and the Battery Competency Centre. Hours are 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, plus one in three Saturdays 8:00–12:30.

The Basic Salary is up to £45,000 with OTE up to £48,000 plus benefits. You will oversee back-of-house activities, health and safety, technician reviews, and Franchise

Qualifications

• Experience leading a workshop in a dealership environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to manage technicians and achieve KPI targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage the workflow of all jobs to brand standards with effective workshop loading.
• Lead a team of Technicians to ensure efficient workshop operations.
• Support the service department to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Ensure processes and health & safety standards are followed at all times.
• Plan and manage workshop resources to meet work demands.
• Assist with complex jobs and liaise with customers for approvals.
