Halfords is recruiting an Assistant Manager to support the Centre Manager in delivering profitable, customer‑focused service in our Newcastle Autocentre. You’ll split time between the workshop with technicians and daily sales and service tasks, driving efficiency, service quality and team development.
The role offers a base salary of £34,000 with an uncapped monthly bonus, giving an OTE of up to £40,000, plus extensive benefits and progression opportunities through our training schemes and
Formación
- Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through management and leadership.
- Experience in coaching, training, and developing colleagues on the job.
- Strong technical knowledge with Level 2/3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of workshop operations, diagnostics, and vehicle maintenance.
- Bring your own tools and work in a busy workshop.
- Experience maintaining Health & Safety compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- IT proficient and able to learn in-house systems.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Full, valid driving licence.
