Job summary
Halfords is seeking an Assistant Manager at Blyth to support the Centre Manager in daily sales, customer service and workshop leadership. You will split time between the workshop and customer-facing tasks, driving profitability and ensuring a great customer journey.
The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, coaching ability, and a full, valid driving license. An uncapped bonus scheme and attractive benefits accompany a base salary of £33,000 with total earnings up to £39,000+
Qualifications
- Strong leadership with proven ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coaching and developing colleagues in the moment.
- Level 2/3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of workshop operations and vehicle maintenance processes.
- Full, valid driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Support the Centre Manager with daily sales and customer service.
- Lead and coach workshop teams to deliver high customer satisfaction.
- Balance management duties with hands-on workshop work.
- Drive profitability and ensure health & safety standards.
- Support training and progression opportunities for staff.
