Evans Halshaw in Falkirk is seeking a Workshop Controller to join our growing service team. You will work closely with Service Reception and Parts, driving progress on job allocations and ensuring paperwork is completed to standard.

You will coach apprentices, keep the customer first, and lead by example to deliver an outstanding experience. We offer 33 days holiday, a birthday day off, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service department within the motor industry.
• Strong understanding of workshop systems and processes.
• Solid knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
• Confident communicating with people at all levels and building rapport.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Able to negotiate and influence situations.
• Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining progress information against job allocation and ensure paperwork is completed to standard.
• Assist and advise team members on technical and job-related problems.
• Coach workshop apprentices as required.
• Ensure the customer comes first in all interactions.
