Job summary

Donnelly Group is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to lead our Jaguar Land Rover workshop, driving performance, quality and customer service across a busy dealership. You will oversee the workshop, support service advisors, and ensure efficient repairs with Right First Time delivery.

The role requires Master Technician level with supervisory experience and 3–4 years in a franchised workshop, plus a full UK driving licence. Excellent benefits and development opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Master Technician level with supervisory/managerial experience.
• 3–4 years experience in a franchised workshop.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles complete the eVHC process and assist Service Advisors with work, costs and timings.
• Monitor repairs to ensure quality and efficiency, Right First Time.
• Identify warranty repairs and obtain authorisation as needed.
• Support Technicians with complex issues and escalate when necessary.
• Keep Advisors updated on progress and additional work identified.
• Ensure Repair Orders/Job Cards are accurate and presentable for customers and warranty claims.
• Carry out quality checks and road tests when required.
• Maintain high health, safety and environmental standards.
