Duties
  • Oversee daily workshop operations to ensure smooth workflow and high standards of quality control
  • Manage a team of workshop staff, setting daily and weekly targets to meet repair deadlines
  • Conduct morning toolbox meetings and coordinate logistics with the parts department
  • Maintain site safety standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Drive productivity to meet and exceed monthly performance targets
  • Liaise with external clients, including dealerships and ARC, to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Utilise simple IT systems and spreadsheets to track units, workflow, and productivity (no formal management systems necessary)
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or similar leadership role within an automotive environment; individualsfrom car dealership backgrounds are encouraged to apply
