• Allocate job cards and prioritise tasks according to customer deadlines.
• Monitor workshop productivity and implement process improvements.
• Ensure high standards of quality control and customer satisfaction as a Workshop Controller.
• Maintain effective communication between service advisors, technicians, and customers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop.

Duties of a Workshop Controller:

• Managing and supervising a team of eight technicians to ensure efficient workflow


• Allocating job cards and prioritising tasks according to customer deadlines


• Monitoring workshop productivity and implementing process improvements


• Ensuring high standards of quality control and customer satisfaction as a Workshop Controller


• Maintaining effective communication between service advisors, technicians, and customers


• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop


• Organising daily workshop operations and supporting team development

Requirements of a Workshop Controller:

• Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or in a similar supervisory role within the automotive industry


• Strong leadership and organisational skills


• Excellent understanding of automotive repair processes and workshop management


• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple tasks
