Job summary
Halfords in Mansfield is seeking an Assistant Manager to work with the Centre Manager, blending workshop duties with frontline sales leadership to drive customer satisfaction and profitability. You will coach technicians, contribute to daily operations, ensure health and safety compliance, and use your Level 2/3 light vehicle maintenance qualification to support diagnostics and workshops.
The role offers an OTE up to £41,493, with a base salary of £30,000–£34,093 and an uncapped monthly bonus
Qualifications
- Experience delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through effective management.
- Coaching and developing colleagues in the moment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with Level 2/3 maintenance qualification.
- Driving licence required and full workshop capability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a workshop team to drive profitability and customer experience.
- Work with Centre Manager on daily sales and service.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Coach, train, and develop technicians and staff.
