Job summary

Halfords, the UK’s largest automotive service, maintenance and repair business, is hiring an Assistant Manager. You will work alongside the Centre Manager to lead a busy workshop, drive profitability and deliver excellent customer service.

You’ll split time between the workshop and sales-facing duties, coaching technicians and supporting daily operations. A background in vehicle maintenance or management in a similar setting is preferred, with a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through effective management and leadership.
• Experience in coaching, training, and developing colleagues in the moment.
• Strong technical knowledge of workshop operations, diagnostics, and vehicle maintenance.
• Full, valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Split time between the workshop and assisting the Centre Manager with daily sales and customer service.
