Job summary

Portico, based in Central London, seeks a Workplace Host to support colleagues and clients in a premium office environment. You will collaborate with the workplaces services team to ensure seamless facilities delivery and an engaging work atmosphere.

The role requires strong communication, a proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple requests. Prior customer service or facilities experience is essential, with shifts 7am–6pm, Mon–Fri, and a salary of £33,744 per annum.

Job Description

We are looking for a Workplace Host (Colleague Support Host) to join our team based at the Central London offices of one of the most exclusive banks in the world!

The Hosts are the go-to people for the day to day needs of our clients. The aim of the role is to deliver an exceptional and engaging colleague environment, working alongside the workplace services team, exposed to many aspects of facilities management.

• Maintaining the office environment to a high standard
• Preparing building communications
• Updating signage
• Replenishing consumables
• Answering client queries and actioning feedback
• Helping with social and charitable initiatives

In addition to working with the friendly onsite Portico team, you will also become part of the wider national community of Hosts.

Shifts: 40 hours per week with varying shifts between 7am-6pm, from Mon-Fri.
Salary: £33,744 per annum.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail. They will be proactive, flexible, and organised. The successful candidate must be able to engage with others to create rapport and be able to handle multiple requests simultaneously.

Previous experience in a customer service or facilities role is essential.
