Arup is seeking a Work Winning Lead to drive bids and client engagement across the UKIMEA CPD portfolio. You will coordinate pursuits, shape bid strategy, manage a cross‑functional team, and deliver high‑quality submissions within demanding deadlines.

This leadership role offers exposure to high‑impact projects, a collaborative culture, and opportunities to develop market‑leading procurement strategies across diverse geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field.
• APMP certification (desirable).
• Proven success in leading work winning teams across geographies and contributing to major CPD bids.
• Strong understanding of procurement practices and public sector regulations.
• Knowledge of CPD sector and markets, including key clients and competitors.
• Knowledge of Design & Build market and key contractors.
• Experience managing a pipeline of Priority Pursuits using MS Dynamics CRM.
• Experience leading improvement initiatives affecting skills, tools and processes for winning work.
• Ability to collaborate under pressure and deliver high‑quality submissions on deadlines.
• Ability to identify and communicate work winning priorities to stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and develop others and manage competing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Establish and manage a pipeline of opportunities.
• Lead proposal management and bid coordination across CPD teams in UKIMEA.
• Guide pursuit and positioning strategy, scheduling, compliance and submission production through the full bid cycle.
• Collaborate with technical teams and bid directors to deliver winning submissions.
• Drive client engagement planning and pre-positioning for Priority Pursuits.
• Promote structured use of CRM and bid lifecycle tools to enhance pipeline visibility and reporting.
• Supervise work winning team members and contribute to talent development.
• Oversee consistency and excellence in Arup’s work winning process and submissions.
• Contribute to wider work winning initiatives via the MCBD skills network.
• Embed knowledge management and insights reporting to inform future pursuits.
