Job summary

Arup is seeking a Work Winning Lead to shape and execute bid strategies for the CPD portfolio in the UKIMEA region. You will oversee pursuit coordination, bid production, and client engagement to improve win rates and project outcomes.

The role combines tactical bid delivery with strategic pipeline development, mentoring a UK-wide team, and embedding best-practice processes across the organisation. A strong background in procurement and CRM is essential, with a commitment to Arup’s values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field.
• APMP certification desirable.
• Proven success in leading work winning teams across geographies and contributing to major CPD sector bids.
• Strong understanding of procurement practices and public sector regulations.
• Knowledge of the CPD sector and markets, including key clients and competitors.
• Experience using MS Dynamics CRM.
• Ability to lead and develop others to flourish at Arup.
• Commitment to Arup’s values: humane organisation and quality of work.

Responsibilities

• Lead pipeline and opportunities for CPD Work Winning across UKIMEA.
• Oversee bid coordination and proposal development with CPD teams.
• Guide pursuit strategy, scheduling, compliance and submission production.
• Maintain Arup brand during capture, work winning and delivery cycles.
• Drive client engagement planning and knowledge management to improve win rates.
• Promote structured use of CRM and bid lifecycle tools to improve pipeline visibility.
• Supervise team members and contribute to talent development and succession planning.
• Participate in bid reviews and win strategy workshops to ensure high-quality submissions.
