Job summary

Arup in the UK is seeking a Work Winning Lead to shape and implement bid strategies across the CPD Portfolio in UKIMEA. You will lead a team, coordinate proposals, and collaborate with portfolio leadership to boost win rates.

The role blends tactical bid delivery with strategic pipeline development, client engagement plans, and knowledge management to drive quality submissions and sustained competitive advantage across UK operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field.
• Proven success in leading work winning teams across geographies and contributing to major CPD sector bids.
• Strong understanding of procurement practices and public sector regulations.
• Knowledge of CPD sector markets and key clients, partners and competitors.
• Experience with MS Dynamics CRM and pipeline management.
• Experience in leading improvement initiatives affecting bid processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a pipeline of opportunities with CPD portfolio leadership.
• Lead proposal management and bid coordination across UKIMEA CPD teams.
• Guide pursuit strategy, scheduling, compliance, and submission production to improve win rate.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to maintain Arup brand during capture and delivery cycles.
• Drive client engagement planning and pre-positioning for Priority Pursuits.
• Promote use of CRM and bid lifecycle tools to improve pipeline visibility and reporting.
• Supervise work winning team members and support talent development.
• Contribute to wider work winning initiatives via MCBD networks.
• Embed knowledge management and insights reporting for future pursuits.
