A leading technology staffing agency is seeking a Wireless Network Engineer for a 12-month contract based near Birmingham. The role involves designing and deploying large-scale infrastructure solutions using Cisco technologies. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience and relevant certifications, and be able to produce high-level design documentation. Flexible working conditions are offered, with 3 days a week on site.

Qualifications

• Understanding RF planning/deployments.

Overview

Wireless Network Engineer - Cisco, CCNP, DC, FortiGate, RF Planning, BGP, IBGP, Troubleshooting, HLD

Our investment banking client is looking for a Wireless Network Engineer to join the team on a 12 month initial contract (long term project, will be extended.)

Responsibilities

• Design, deployment and support of solutions for large-scale data centre and large office infrastructure using Cisco Wireless, DC (NXOS, IOSXE), FortiGate, Cisco ISE (AAA), Catalyst Centre (SDA).
• Wireless and wired troubleshooting.
• Produce high-level and low-level design documentation (HLD/LLD).

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Cisco Wireless/Switching/Routing & Security (CCNP Enterprise & CCNP Wireless certified).
• Experience in design, deployment and support for large-scale data centre & large office infrastructure using vendors/technologies including Cisco Wireless, DC (NXOS, IOSXE), FortiGate, Cisco ISE (AAA), Catalyst Centre (SDA).
• Understanding RF planning/deployments.
• Hybrid working and on-site presence requirements.
