Majestic Wines Warehouse Limited in Milton Keynes is seeking a dynamic Trainee Manager. You will embark on a 12-month development programme to gain hands-on experience across operations, service and leadership standards, preparing you to become a future Majestic Store Manager.

As you progress, you will support the store team to deliver an outstanding shopping experience, develop product knowledge with the WSET pathway, and meet targets in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environments.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience to every customer.
• Ability to prioritise and solve problems under pressure.
• Self-motivated, able to work alone and as part of a team.
• Can-do attitude with a passion for solving problems.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Wine knowledge is beneficial; aim for Level 2/3 WSET qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with ≤6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales and KPI focus plans.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to grow loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Provide VIP concierge service and inform customers about tastings and products.
• Sell the story, manage tasting events, and maintain the tasting counter.
• Build wine knowledge and pursue WSET qualifications.
• Maintain store appearance and upkeep of internal and external areas.
• Participate in day-to-day operations: deliveries, merchandising, and calls to customers.
• Identify opportunities to improve store operations and compliance.
