Job summary

Majestic Wine Banstead is seeking a dynamic Trainee Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales, KPI performance and daily operations. You will lead by example, deliver exceptional customer experiences and help the team reach their full potential.

You'll develop product knowledge, run tasting events, and ensure store standards while pursuing WSET qualifications. The role includes comprehensive training, generous staff benefits and opportunities for progression within the Majestic

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• WSET 2 qualification desirable and willingness to pursue WSET 3.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in driving performance and day-to-day operations.
• Drive store performance by maximizing sales opportunities.
• Deliver market-leading customer service to drive business growth.
• Provide VIP concierge service and updates on products and tastings.
• Sell the story of wine and manage tasting counter.
• Support recruitment, management and development of the team.
• Develop team knowledge and progression toward WSET qualifications.
• Maintain store appearance and reporting, and escalate issues promptly.
• Identify opportunities to improve store operations and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance and mandatory training completion.
